Te Anau Wildlife Centre
Enjoy a walk along the shore of Lake Te Anau to visit the Wildlife Centre. Here you can view the extremely rare native bird the Takahe, as well as many other native birds.
Lake Henry, Ivon Wilson Park
This is a great picnic opportunity for children to try their hands at angling, as the lake is specially stocked with brown and rainbow trout.
Ata Whenua
In the heart of Te Anau, enjoy the award winning film Ata Whenua Shadowland. This film offers 32 minutes of breathtaking Fiordland scenery, shot on 35mm film across extremes of season, climate and terrain.
